HPE T950 Tape Libraries

Meeting enterprise data growth challenges head-on, HPE T950 Tape Libraries deliver enormous scalability to keep pace with unpredictable data growth. Choose from a range of base configurations and scale up to 10,020 LTO-7 tape cartridges in increments of 10 slots or 7,615 TS11xx Technology tape cartridges in increments of 9 slots for capacity on demand. They are the fifth generation of the Ultrium tape drive family, and deliver a capacity of up to 3 Terabytes (assuming two-to-one data compression) on a single cartridge.

HPE M8607A / M8608A / M8609A / M8610A LTO 4 FC Tape Drive

The HPE M8607A/M8608A/M8609A/M8610A LTO Gen 4 FC based tape drives are small, reliable, high-performance tape drives for use in the MRL50 (M8607A), CTL700/CTL700M (M8608A), SL8500 (M8610A), and as a manual tabletop (M8609A) on HPE Integrity NonStop™ servers. These drives have a native capacity of 800 GB per cartridge as well as a sustained native transfer rate of 120 MB/second.

HPE M8505 LTO 3 FC Tape Drive

The HPE model M8505 LTO 3 tape drive provides direct fibre channel connectivity to Integrity NonStop servers with manual operation in a tabletop configuration. The M8505 has a native capacity of 400 GB per cartridge as well as a sustained native transfer rate of 40 MB/second.

The HPE Model 5344 DAT 160 tabletop manual load tape drive is based on the Digital Data Storage (DDS) format, and is designed for NonStop Integrity NS-Series servers and Blade systems. The tape drive delivers a capacity of up to 160 GB compressed on a single data cartridge.

Tributary 9840 FC Tape Drive

The crypto-ready 9840D FC tape drive is the newest member of the 9840 tape drive family, and provides fast data access, fast recall, and high throughput. It has a native capacity of 75 GB on a single cartridge, nearly two times more than the 9840C tape drive.

The M8701A ACL and M8702A ACL are fully read and write compatible with fourth-generation (LTO-4) Ultrium data cartridges, and offer a further degree of investment protection through its backward-read compatibility with third-generation (LTO-3) Ultrium media. The M8701A and M8702A can be configured as a tape library when using ELMM (HSF03) on HPE NonStop systems.

HPE M8605A/M8606A LTO 4 FC ACL

The M8605A and M8606A ACL LTO generation 4 tape drives represents the fourth generation of the Ultrium tape drive family and delivers a capacity of up to 1.6 terabytes (assuming two-to-one data compression) on a single cartridge. The M8605A and M8606A ACL are fully read and write compatible with third-generation Ultrium data cartridges, and offers a further degree of investment protection through its backward-read compatibility with second-generation Ultrium media.
