Black Jack is a heavy yielding sativa-dominant hybrid, that produces large dense flowers with big calyxes covered in crystals. Good for both indoor and outdoor grows alike, this plant stretches like a classic sativa and will require topping for indoor and a lot of vertical space. Bred by Sweet Seeds, Black Jack is a cross of Black Domina and Jack Herer. This strain produces thick buds with huge calyxes that are completely encrusted with trichomes.

Basic / Breeders Info

Black Jack is an indica/sativa variety from The NugLab and can be cultivated indoors (where the plants will need a flowering time of ±60 days) and outdoors. The NugLabs Black Jack is a THC dominant variety and is/was never available as feminized seeds.

The NugLabs Black Jack Description

Here is one of our first real attempts at creating the perfect balance between indica and sativa varieties. The first half of this cross is a Deep Chunk mom from Tom Hill stock that I got in 2012. I'm pretty sure it was one of the last packs from Seed Boutique as they disappeared shortly after from there. All of the plants were short thick 100% indicas that had little flavor but had this amazing deep purple almost black color in flower and finished in 7 weeks time. It was really a struggle to get these plants to 8 weeks they are that fast. The father was our favorite stud Jack Herer(from sensi stock) that we have used in a number of crosses. This guy was selected from breeding haze leaning Jack phenos that take 12-14 weeks to flower. We wanted to ensure we had a male to pass on what we were looking for and he delivers every time.
Both of these plants come together to create a well balanced F1 hybrid . With the dark purple color and hashy smells of the Deep Chunk and the frost covered candy tasting flowers of the Jack This plant is sure to be a garden star that will be absolutely done in 8 weeks indoors.

Not much to look at, Star Kush has small calyxes, tight buds, light pink to red hairs and a light green flower. Still, our Star Kush carries a thick funk that will please anyone with a palette for East Coast Chemdawg and Diesel varieties. Stardawg Kush is one of our most potent fuel strains and currently the closest we can offer to an original Chemdawg variety. Black Jack is a cross of Black Domina and Jack Herer. Reminiscent of an original Jack Herer, this will take those familiar with classic Jack on a brief trip through time. The aroma has sweet fruit, citrus and woody pine terpenes. Similar to a sweet carbonated soda, with hints of sage and pineapple, this plant provides a relaxed, functional and uplifting experience. Black Jack displays some sativa structure and effects, with large triangular buds that are very dense and full. Patients have found relief from anxiety and nausea, as well as an active, creative boost. A very strong cannabinoid profile without the couchlock or heaviness sometimes associated with high potency strains.
